ICC Germany, the German chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), was founded in 1925 ­– with the aim of promoting global trade, responsible corporate governance and the principles of a free market economy, free trade and free enterprise. 100 years later, ICC Germany will celebrate its very special anniversary on

13 October at 18:00
at Haus der Deutschen Wirtschaft
in Berlin

After the official opening by Dr Holger Bingmann, Chairman of ICC Germany, and Dr Volker Treier, Head of Foreign Trade at DIHK, there will be a key note speech by ICC Chairman Philippe Varin, followed by a panel discussion on the topic of ʻRules, Interests, Dominance – Who Shapes Tomorrow’s Global Trade?ʼ with:

– Jean-Marie Paugam, WTO Deputy Director-General,
– Barbara Gessler, Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Germany,
– Andreas Glunz, Managing Partner International Business, KPMG,
– Dr David Lerch, Vice President Public Affairs, Bayer AG,
– moderated by journalist Monika Jones.

Following the event, there will be a reception with a festive flying buffet.
