- Tomorrow's Supply Chains
This year ICC Germany is organising the International ICC Forum „The Future of International Supply Chains – Sustainable, Digital, Smart“ with its opening event taking place on 16 June 2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 am (CET).
At the Forum we want to take a look at the benefits and the challenges of international supply chains. How do trade conflicts and eventually the COVID-19 pandemic affect supply chains, how can they be made more resilient? How do companies address the issue of corporate supply chain responsibility, which initiatives and measures do they take to protect human rights? Digitalization opens up new business areas in supply chain financing and beyond. Can digitalization also contribute to conserving our resources and protecting our climate? And last but not least: what are the latest trends of the „supply chains of tomorrow“?
As a global business organization, it is our mission as ICC and ICC Germany to address the daily challenges faced by businesses of all sizes around the world and to develop and promote solutions through our network with the goal „to make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere“.
Following the opening, we are organising a series of international workshops with our partners Deutsche Post DHL, KPMG, ODDO BHF, BuyCo, DVV Media Group, BDI und DIHK between June and October on current issues and pressing questions around the future of global supply chains:
