ICC Spain und ICC Germany laden zu einem binationalen Schiedsdialog zwischen Deutschland und Spanien nach Barcelona ein.
Die Veranstaltung bringt erfahrene Schiedspraktiker:innen, Schiedsrichter:innen sowie Inhouse-Jurist:innen aus beiden Ländern zu einem informellen Austausch über aktuelle Entwicklungen in der ICC-Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit zusammen. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei insbesondere Verfahrenseffizienz, Case Management sowie die sich weiterentwickelnde Rolle von Schiedsgerichten.

Panel 1: The First CMC: Setting the Course for an Efficient Arbitration
The panel will address common procedural pitfalls at the first Case Management Conference, procedural decisions with the greatest impact on time and cost efficiency, bifurcation, early determination, procedural sequencing, and the role of parties and counsel in ensuring an effective CMC.
With Mariana de la Rosa (Uría Menéndez) as moderator and Mercedes Tarrazon (Dispute Management S.L.), Dr. Jochen Beckmann (RÖDL Spain), Karl Pörnbacher (Hogan Lovells) and Erik Schäfer (BODENHEIMER) as panellits.
Panel 2: The Proactive Arbitrator: How Much Is Too Much?
The panel will focus on the appropriate degree of tribunal intervention, the line between active case management and prejudgment, early views by tribunals, due process concerns, user expectations regarding active case management, and the continuing relevance of civil law and common law traditions in international arbitration.
